Jessica Edgar is a former middle school teacher and has served as a building principal for 12 years in the K-8 setting. Dr. Edgar received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Arizona State University, and her doctoral degree from Grand Canyon University. An Arizona native and a former Weinberg Wrangler, Dr. Edgar serves in the Chandler Unified School District as the Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction.

Lindsay Duran has a bachelors degree from Arizona State University in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Business and a masters from Grand Canyon University in Educational Leadership. She taught at both Junior High and High School levels; including computer applications, Marketing, and Education Professions. As well as serving as an educational technology specialist, CTE instructional specialist and Assistant Director prior to her current role as Director of CTE. Lindsay supports our 20 CTE programs that are offered at our high schools and junior highs.

Adam Sax

Adam Sax is a former 4th grade teacher and has served as a 2-5 building principal for 3 years, as well as Coordinator for Teaching and Learning, and Director of Instructional Technology, Data and Assessment in Illinois for a K-8 school district. Adam oversees Assessment and Accountability for Chandler Unified School District.

Renee Sweeden

Renee Sweeden began teaching in 1987, and has taught students Kindergarten through graduate school. She received her Bachelors from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in English Education, a Masters degree in English from the University of North Texas, and a Masters in Educational Technology from Northern Arizona University. Renee has been with CUSD since 1994, teaching junior high ELA, high school AP English, as well as serving as an elementary media specialist, and as an instructional specialist. She was the district director for the AVID program, and the program director at Chandler Early College High School prior to her current role as Director of PK-12 Electives and Enrichment. She has one son and one grandson.

Brenda Vargas

In education since 2001, Brenda Vargas holds a bachelor's in Special Education, a master's in Education Administration and Certificate of Advanced Graduate studies in School Counseling. Brenda has been a special education teacher, counselor, dean and athletic director, instructional specialist for secondary education, district AVID director and assistant principal. She oversees the counseling and social service supports for the district.

Shaun graduated summa cum laude from Northern Arizona University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Music Education and a minor in mathematics education. He received his Masters of Education in Educational Technology from Arizona State University in August of 2002. Shaun has spent his entire career in Chandler USD, teaching choral music at Bogle JHS for 6 years and computer applications courses at Santan JHS for 13 years before joining the IRC as an Instructional Technology Specialist in 2015.

Jamie McBride serves students, teachers, administrators and other stakeholders in CUSD by supporting World Languages, Dual Language Immersion programs, and Early Childhood programs. She believes that All Children Are Capable of Success ... No Exceptions! Jamie holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Elementary Education / Curriculum and Instruction with endorsements in the areas of Early Childhood Education, Reading, ESL, and Adult Education. Prior to her work at the Instructional Resource Center, she has served as a classroom teacher, curriculum specialist, and academic coach. In addition, Jamie develops and facilitates professional development for certified and classified staff in CUSD.
